KLC Air Shower | 25m/s High-Efficiency Air Velocity, Exceeding National Cleanliness Standards
KLC Air Shower | 25m/s High-Efficiency Air Velocity, Exceeding National Cleanliness Standards
March 19, 2026
In the material transfer process within a cleanroom, tiny dust particles are often the real cause of product defects and experimental failures. KLC Pass Box with Air Shower understand that the core of purification efficiency lies in the intensity and cleanliness of the airflow;therefore, we use a nozzle outlet air velocity of 25m/s to ensure every air shower is truly effective, building a solid first line of defense against contamination for you.
Why insist on 25 m/s?
The national standard requires ≥20 m/s, but we've encountered three practical problems in actual delivery:
A. Wind speed attenuation.
Using 20 m/s as the initial wind speed standard, it rapidly attenuates during equipment operation due to filter clogging, causing a precipitous drop in dust removal efficiency and creating a hidden danger of "compliant but ineffective." The 25 m/s design provides a margin, maintaining effective dust removal even with increased resistance over a long period.
B. Cleaning dead zones.
A wind speed of 20 m/s is insufficient to remove stubborn particles from the crevices of precision components. A wind speed of 25 m/s, combined with multi-angle rotating nozzles, creates the widest coverage area for deep cleaning.
C. Blind spots at the air vents.
A wind speed of 20 m/s makes it difficult to create a uniform and high-intensity turbulent field within the chamber, leaving personnel and materials potentially in "blind spots" at the air vents. The actual wind speed they experience is far lower than the standard value. A powerful 25m/s airflow ensures that personnel and materials are subjected to comprehensive, high-intensity airflow regardless of their location.
Based on the delivery and maintenance of thousands of cleanroom projects, KLC continuously optimizes nozzle layout and filtration technology. The 25m/s airflow design achieves the following practical effects:
★ Stable achievement of ISO Class 5 (Class 100) cleanroom standards
★ Deep cleaning of rough-surfaced cardboard boxes, complex molds, and precision components
★ Reduced product scrap due to material contamination, ensuring a continuously controlled production environment
★ Meeting GMP, ISO, and other certification requirements
★ Compared to merely meeting national standards, 25m/s represents a higher technical threshold and a more pragmatic choice for actual usage scenarios.
